Leeds College of Music, Digital Prospectus

We’re proud to have worked with Leeds College of Music to create their award-winning digital prospectus, a first of its kind for a UK university. 

The Leeds College of Music brand combines creative and technological innovation to highlight its position as the UK’s contemporary conservatoire. So we set out to match their creative and technological ambitions, and to try and find a better way to experience a prospectus online.

(Because when god invented the internet, we’re pretty sure he didn’t intend us to use it to ‘flick’ through 120-page PDF’s in a window 5x too small for us to be able to actually read anything.)

The platform uses advances in modern browser capabilities to create an online responsive brochure, featuring media-rich profiles, recordings, interviews, gig listings and features on facilities.

Using the user’s location, study level and course they’re interested in, hundreds of pages of possible content are cut down to a 10-page digital brochure, tailored to each user, that’s simple and easy to browse through.

As part of the project, we also provided art direction for the photography across all the undergraduate and postgraduate pathways, exploring the wide variety of ‘music making spaces’ on offer to musicians in Leeds.
